Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
- We provide services to help businesses compare and switch business energy. Any quotations we provide depend on the products available to us, the suppliers we work with, and whether you meet the supplier’s eligibility and credit criteria.
- We do not provide advice. You are responsible for deciding whether any quotation, product, or contract is right for your business.
- Where appropriate, and in line with our Privacy Policy, we may pass your details to trusted third-party partners so they can provide comparisons or services you have expressed an interest in.
- We are not responsible for the performance of suppliers or partners, or for the services they provide. You should always review their own terms and conditions before entering into a contract.
2. About These Terms
- These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our services and our websites. They replace any previous agreements between you and us.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
- If we do not enforce a right at any time, this does not mean we waive that right.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another business. If we do, we will ensure your rights are not adversely affected and will notify you where appropriate.
- If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our website and may be notified to you directly. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us at info@youty.co.uk. If you wish to make a complaint, you must do so as soon as possible and no later than three (3) months after becoming aware of the issue. Our complaints process is available on our website.
- We are a member of the Energy Ombudsman’s independent dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot resolve an energy-related complaint within eight (8) weeks, you may be able to refer it to the Energy Ombudsman.
3. Our Services
- We provide our services only where you have requested them and we have agreed to act. We may refuse or stop providing services at our discretion.
- Our services depend on:
- Products available to us
- The suppliers and partners we work with
- Whether you meet supplier eligibility and credit requirements
- We will only act on your behalf where you have given us clear authority, usually through a Letter of Authority.
- For business energy, we work with a panel of suppliers. For other utilities, we may work with one supplier or a limited panel. We do not compare the entire market.
- Any reviews you leave about us must be honest and reflect your genuine experience. We may challenge and seek removal of misleading or fake reviews.
4. Comparison Service
- We will use reasonable efforts to provide competitive quotations based on the information you give us. Quotations are provided in good faith but rely on your information being accurate, complete, and up to date.
